I asked Amma for a special grace. I prayed and prayed and prayed. And then I tried to surrender. And my grace was granted. Om Namo Narayani!
And PS Louis saw the new A4 size pic I have of Amma on my desk and grabbed it and said""Mama, Mama" which is what he calls Amma - and then he kissed it about five or six times.
He did this before with another Amma pic. But Amma's photos are the ONLY ones I've seen him kiss, including ones of me and O and Grandmas and Grandpas.

2009
As we head into 2009, I wish for myself, my family, and all those I know and love, and even those I don't, to understand the power of ...

ஈமெயில் டு எடோ அண்ட் Nathalie
Hi guys,
I said I would write to you both with the details of what happened here the other night. Dad is really REALLY weak now - it's very clear this is his last lap this lifetime. We've obviously spent a lot of time with him (and have loved and appreciated your thoughts and support).
As we were leaving the other night, my sister said "Sweet dreams Dad" and I said "Yes Dad, and remember, if you dream of Amma it's very good luck..."
And Dad - as sick and motionless as he is - actually did a real double take and looked at me with astonishment.
I said " What Dad?" and he said he had dreamed of Amma, maybe for the last two or three nights.
I could hardly believe it, mainly since Dad is such a devout Christian and never really understood my Amma " thing" at least he seemed not to particularly " get" it - though he is a very tolerant man.
I asked him what had happened in the dreams. Dad really knows only very little about Amma, and if he'd had to imagine what Amma would have said, I'm sure he'd have expected 'reassuring plattitudes'!
But actually, he said they had talked about "my treatment and Australia" which I am pretty sure you will both agree is EXACTLY what one can imagine Amma would talk about, non?
It certainly made me feel a LOT better to know that Amma is with him, perhaps partly thanks to you two sending up prayers to our Divine Mother.
Om Namo Narayani!

Angels
Louis and I were in the car the other day, and I said to him "Hey Louis, where are the Angels?" and he pointed up back behind his head without thinking about, like for sure there were Angels trailing our car.
A few minutes later, to test him, I said "Hey Louis, where's the cauliflour?" and he just stared at me blankly.
I mentioned this to Olivier, and asked him to try the same thing, using the name of something Louis would never have heard of.
This morning at home just as I woke up and went into the living room, Olivier calls to me from the kitchen ... "Well Y, Louis doesn't know where the nuclear submarine is"... In other words, he'd tried the same thing to no avail.
So I said to Louis, who was still in his sleeping bag, "Hey Louis, where are the Angels?" and without hesitation, he waddled out of the living room, into the corridor and through to my office to the very large picture I have of Amma in there.
He took it with both hands. Apparently, here are the Angels!
