Hi guys,
I said I would write to you both with the details of what happened here the other night. Dad is really REALLY weak now - it's very clear this is his last lap this lifetime. We've obviously spent a lot of time with him (and have loved and appreciated your thoughts and support).
As we were leaving the other night, my sister said "Sweet dreams Dad" and I said "Yes Dad, and remember, if you dream of Amma it's very good luck..."
And Dad - as sick and motionless as he is - actually did a real double take and looked at me with astonishment.
I said " What Dad?" and he said he had dreamed of Amma, maybe for the last two or three nights.
I could hardly believe it, mainly since Dad is such a devout Christian and never really understood my Amma " thing" at least he seemed not to particularly " get" it - though he is a very tolerant man.
I asked him what had happened in the dreams. Dad really knows only very little about Amma, and if he'd had to imagine what Amma would have said, I'm sure he'd have expected 'reassuring plattitudes'!
But actually, he said they had talked about "my treatment and Australia" which I am pretty sure you will both agree is EXACTLY what one can imagine Amma would talk about, non?
It certainly made me feel a LOT better to know that Amma is with him, perhaps partly thanks to you two sending up prayers to our Divine Mother.
Om Namo Narayani!
